UnsInk is a private, writing-first journal. It helps you discover yourself through situations unfolded or still unfolding — and gently write your way back to the surface.

What should we call you?
Your name stays on this device. It's only used so the app can speak to you like a person.
🔒
Private by design
Everything you write is stored on this device. Nothing is uploaded, analysed, or shared in this version.
When accounts arrive, your journal will sync to the cloud automatically — encrypted end to end, so only you can ever read it. Your words and preferences stay exactly as you wrote them.
Separately, and only if you choose to opt in, AI will read your entries to tag feelings and areas of life, then rewrite your situations into short, fully anonymised stories — no names, no identifying details. Those stories join a shared library that helps other users learn how someone else coped with something like what they're facing. You'll be asked first, in plain language.
One honest note: UnsInk is a reflection tool, not therapy or a medical device. If you're in crisis, please reach out to local emergency services or a crisis line.
🗓️
Two small habits
1 — Name the day. Each day, log up to three emotions that marked you most. It takes ten seconds, and over weeks your calendar becomes a map of your inner weather.
2 — Write a few times a week (2–3 times). When something leaves a mark, write about that event. Focus not on the event itself, but on the feelings it caused and where you've felt them before.
Handwriting is paramount here — and not out of nostalgia. Your hand is slower than your mind, so writing by hand works as a live, subconscious filter: whatever makes it onto the page was important enough to be filtered in, and unloading it there is how you unsink. Whatever your hand left out, your mind has already decided isn't worth carrying — you don't need to chase it again.
Write clearly and unhurried — partly so the app can read your handwriting accurately, but mostly so you stay with this moment instead of racing to the next thought. Photograph a page, write with a pen on the screen, speak a voice note, or type when you must — UnsInk keeps only your words.

Something on your mind?
Think of the most recent situation that left a strong emotional mark. If nothing comes, just start writing — it often surfaces as you write.

AI reflections
AI is on for this build — reflections, handwriting, and voice-note transcription run through S-Sence Labs servers. No key, no setup. Your entries are sent only at the moment of reflecting or transcribing, and media is never stored.
Optional. Paste your own Google Gemini API key and UnsInk writes you a short, tone-matched reflection after each entry — one observation, one gentle question, never a label.
Alpha note: the key is stored only on this device, and your entry text is sent to Google's API when a reflection is made. The commercial release will route this through S-Sence Labs servers instead, so no key will be needed.
